Transfer safeguards
Where processing leaves the European Economic Area, Leadstar relies on the legal mechanism applicable to the provider (an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses), supplemented where necessary by technical and contractual measures. DPAs and residency settings for each critical provider form part of the deployment’s contractual package. Before production, the client receives the list of providers actually enabled, their role and the applicable safeguards.
